Maria G. Allen

Media Director

Maria G. Allen started her career at Leo Burnett as
a media buyer/planner. She managed the
syndicated television agency of record for Kraft for
all brands at all agencies. She also worked on
writing plans and buying print for Dewer's White
label. She left Leo Burnett to become a Media
Supervisor at Eisaman, Johns & Laws (EJL). At
EJL she worked on the Chicagoland Chevrolet
account, introduced several Motorola Cellular
Phones to the world and negotiated print for several
Hiram Walker brands. After five years with EJL,
she left to become the manager of advertising and
media at Zenith Electronics. At Zenith, she
developed media plans for all divisions of corporation
and launched HDTV television to the general public.
After Zenith moved its advertising headquarters out
of state. Maria joined The Ungar Group as Media
Director. She has been working for The Ungar
Group for 14 years.

Maria has a BA in Mass Communications from the
University of Denver. She is a happy mother
"especially when her kids are sleeping,"
living in one of the oldest, toniest and most
sought after suburbs on the North Shore. Yet she
remains as casual as a PB&J.
